Candidates Forums - at the Library OR on Zoom

In November 2022, we will elect our state and local officials. The primary election is June 28, 2022. The current 2022 schedule for Aspen Hill Library candidate forums:

March 2 County Council

March 10 County Council

April 7 County Executive

April 28 State Legislature

May 12 if needed (District 19)

IF there are a lot of County Council at large candidates, then we will use March 2 and 10 for those candidates, and use May 12 for the District 3 and 4 candidates. If there are not a lot of at large candidates, then we will use March 2 for at large candidates and March 10 for District 3 and 4 candidates.

The forums are planned to be held in the Aspen Hill Library Community Room, if it is available. If not, the forums will be held on Zoom. The forums are part of the Aspen Hill Public Affairs Series that started in 1984, and are sponsored jointly by the Friends of the Aspen Hill Library, Strathmore Bel Pre Civic Association, Aspen Hill Civic Association, Aspen Hill Library Advisory Committee, and the Glenmont Exchange.
